Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to legal homeowners in our service area who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

The Giveaway begins on Oct.1, 2025 and ends on December 31,2025. Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.

To enter, participants must: completely fill out the form at scharheating.com
Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries will be disqualified.

One (1) winner will receive:

  • A new forced air furnace unit installed $4070 value

(based on 60,000BTU, 3-ton drive PG96MSAA36060A)

  • A new thermostat $73 value

(based on BZ33-201P)

  • A five-inch pleated filter $345 value

(base on 1410 AprilAire 5” filter)

  • Any necessary permits up to a value of $90
  • Excludes: ductwork, electrical upgrades, and additional accessories

 Prize is non-transferable and no substitution, no cash back from unredeemed equipment prizes, and no cash equivalent is allowed.

 The winner will be notified by phone and must respond within 24 hours to claim the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond, an alternate winner may be selected.

Installation must take place at a residential property owned by the winner and located within the Schar Heating and Cooling, Inc. Service Area. The home must meet minimum requirements for furnace installation. If the home does not qualify, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. If our Comfort Advisor determines the residence requires a different forced air furnace, thermostat, or filter, the winner has the opportunity to select the proper equipment with the deduction of the $4578 prize.  The remaining balance is the responsibility of the winner before the installation.

All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt or use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

By entering, participants grant the Sponsor the right to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if any fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway.

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation or receipt of the prize.

This Giveaway is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
